Near the Latvian capital Riga, the open-air stage of the traditional Latvian Singers‘ Festival is located in the middle of pine forests. During the festival, which has been designated as a UNESCO Cultural Heritage, the new stage provides space for around 11,000 singers and ensures optimum acoustics with its 300 acoustic shields and membrane enclosure. The new membrane cover installed by PFEIFER is also designed to improve the acoustics during open-air events. Different types of fabrics reflect sound to varying degrees, helping to guarantee a unique experience for the audience during concerts.
