Porte-cochère Structures

PFEIFER Structures designs, engineers, and installs custom porte-cochère structures. Similar to a portico, a porte-cochère is a covered porch-like structure arranged over a driveway or road where vehicles pull up to load and unload passengers. At a fraction of the weight of glass the advanced membranes and cables we craft our structures from require minimal structural support which allows us to create amazing, fanciful lightweight structures previously unimagined.

Porte-cochère structures provide visitors protection from the elements while entering or exiting a building, helps to reduce water infiltration at entrances, and decreases the risk of slips or falls from rain, snow, or ice. Our uniquely designed porte-cochère structures are low maintenance, can be designed to allow filtered daylight, and are sustainably built.

Contact us to get more information about our lightweight porte-cochère structures, or to get a free consultation with the most experienced designers and engineers in the lightweight structures industry. Fill out the contact form on this page or call us toll free at 1-877-887-4233.
