CSI Division 13 Section 133100 PTFE Specifications

PFEIFER Structures provides construction specifications in the CSI MasterFormat 2004 standard for lightweight structures using PTFE, PVC, and ETFE materials. These specifications are intended for use as a general guideline for architects and designers. A certified construction specifier should be consulted to ensure project specifications are compliant with local, regional, and national building codes and ordinances.

PTFE, or polytetrafluoroethylene, is a TEFLON™-coated woven fiberglass membrane that is extremely durable and tolerant of even the most extreme weather elements. The woven fiberglass gives PTFE coated glass fiber its mechanical strength and providing the membrane with maximum flexibility.
