FabriTec's Fabric Canopies at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Airport Improvement

FabriTec Structure’s work on Austin-Bergstrom International Airport’s South Terminal was showcased on the front cover of Airport Improvement Magazine. An article was written on the opening of the new terminal that was built to alleviate some of the congestion at the Austin airport.

“We poured $12 million into this project, and the result is a radical transformation from what it was before,” said LoneStar Airport Holdings CEO Jeff Pearse.

FabriTec Structures finished installing 23 canopies, that they also designed and manufactured, at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in the spring of 2017. The canopies total 14,030 sqft in size and are made with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) fabric. The canopy structures were designed for the purpose of protecting passengers from inclement weather with a sleek, contemporary look.
